A pleasant Good Day and God’s Blessings to all Virgin Islanders, residents and visitors.
You would recall that alternative energy was one of the key issues on which my team campaigned for the 2019 General Election. We promised that if you gave us the opportunity, we would make alternative energy not just a conversation but a commodity to households across our Territory.
Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie and other officials viewed the very first grid-tied renewable energy inspection conducted on the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) building last week.
Premier of the Virgin Islands, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has scheduled a meeting with executives from the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) and BVI Cable TV to listen to their concerns regarding pole sharing.
I wish to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, the Ministry for Transportation, Works and Utilities, and the British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation (BVIEC), to apologize to all residents who were affected in some way by this morning’s power outage.
