The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that road paving will begin on Friday, July 3 from the junction at Big Ben to Zion Hill.
The Department of Waste Management will be spearheading a cleanup campaign on Jost Van Dyke from July 4 to 6 in an effort to mitigate vector borne diseases like Zika, Chikungunya and Dengue Fever.
The Water and Sewerage Department is informing all residents that work to upgrade the pipes between Butu Mountain and the Belle Vue/Fort Hill junction will begin on Friday, July 3 and continue until Sunday, July 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily.
The purpose of the work is to replace the 6 inch and 8 inch water pipes in the area in order to improve the water distribution network. Residents on Fort Hill will be affected and are advised to take the necessary steps to store an adequate supply of water throughout this period.
