The new Peebles Hospital received a $3,500 donation by the Rotaract Club of Tortola, in collaboration with the local band V.I.B.E. today.
During the presentation, Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton said, “We cannot be more grateful to all the people who have given, so that we can continue to provide you the services, so that when you come here ;you will get the quality service you need.”
Assistant District Rotaract Representative, Ms. Aisha Liburd said, “We try to help the community in any way that we can and we had this idea since the last Rotary year. We contacted V.I.B.E. and told them we wanted to partner with them to make this donation as a joint effort towards the hospital.”
