Good evening to all the people of the Virgin Islands. As you are aware, the Territory and our neighbours in the USVI and Puerto Rico remain under a tropical storm warning.

As you would have already heard from His Excellency the Acting Governor Mr. David Archer, the Territory is now under a Tropical Storm Warning, which means that we expect Tropical Storm Karen will bring some tropical storm conditions to our shores within the next 36 hours.
I hope that you have found some time over the course of the weekend to not only ensure that you have done what is needed to increase your preparedness levels but to also rest and rejuvenate, because we begin this week facing the approach of Tropical Storm Karen.
