Officials from the Ministry of Health and Social Development have met with local freight and cargo shipping companies to discuss precautionary measures in response to COVID-19.
The public is advised to purchase all foods from safe sources this holiday season. Inspect foods for safe temperature, colour, odour, texture and packaging. Also, arrange for foods to be delivered at times when they can be inspected.

Twenty-nine professionals are now certified in ServSafe Food Protection Management course offered by the British Virgin Islands Environmental Health Division.
