Work Continues On National Sewerage Project In East End

The Ministry of Communications is informing the public that work will continue on

National Sewerage Project from Fat Hogs Bay in the vicinity of YEP and will continue east towards the Long Swamp Police Station in East End.

Works will begin on Wednesday February 25 at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily and will continue for a period of 6 weeks.

Motorists are advised to utilise the ridge road via Fort Hill as there will be no vehicular access through that area.

Road Works Continue From Meyers To Soldier’s Hill Junction

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that road works from Meyers Estate to Chalwell on to the Soldier’s Hill junction toward Cane Garden Bay will continue daily from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists are asked to exercise caution when traversing the areas.

National Sewerage Programme Continues In East End Long Look

The scope of work for the second phase of the National Sewerage Programme in East End/Long Look is expected to commence on Wednesday, February 25.

Government continues to move forward with the continuation of the National Sewerage Programme in that area and the scope of work is to take place from Fat Hog’s Bay in the vicinity of Five Girls store going east to the bridge at Long Swamp.

Boo Bay Drive To Close From Saturday February 14

Parker Road To Close From Friday, February 6

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing the public that Parker Road, Road Town which runs between Josh Bakery and Little Denmark will be closed from Friday, February 6 from 8:00 a.m. to vehicular traffic. 

The purpose of this road closure is to upgrade the drainage system, to relocate the utilities and to resurface the road in that area.  Works are expected to last for a 27 day period.
