Tortola, British Virgin Islands, 8th April 2021 the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA), is announcing the first update on the operations that will occur at the BVI Ports Authority’s excursion dock at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.
The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to inform the public that Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur of the Seas will be departing the British Virgin Islands on 10 April 2021 and Vision of the Seas on 11 April 2021.

On 28 May, the Government presented our $62.9 million Phase Two COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, which contained several programmes to help support families and small businesses during these trying times.

In commemoration of Carnival Sunrise’s inaugural call to the Virgin Islands, Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie presented a plaque to the captain of the vessel on behalf of the Government and people of the Virgin Islands.
The Government of the Virgin Islands has paid tribute to former Chief Minister, tourism visionary and local cruise industry pioneer Cyril B. Romney, by renaming the Tortola Pier Park in his honour.
