The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is advising all Masters operating as a commercial, pleasure or sport fisher, who received fishing licenses for the years 2020 and 2021 and who have not submitted their fish catch logbooks (datasheets) to do so immediately.

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to inform the public that in observance of Heroes’ and Forefathers Day the offices and warehouses on Tortola and Virgin Gorda will be closed to the public on Monday, 18 October 2021.

The public is notified that 2000 doses of the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine arrived into the Virgin Islands yesterday October 7 and will be ready for distribution at all vaccination centres on Monday, October 11.
The public is notified that the portion of Windy Hill Road, Tortolain the vicinity of Sage Mountain will be partially closed and only one lane traffic will be allowed from Monday, October 11 at 9:00 a.m. for a period of six (6) weeks.
