The Environmental Health Division will be hosting a two session workshop for port health and border protection personnel to decide on strategies for the strengthening of port health regulations.
Participants will discuss the core capacity requirements under the International Health Regulations 2005, the roles of relevant agencies and stake holders at points of entry and strengthening collaborative efforts among agencies.
The Water and Sewerage Department is advising its customers in the areas of Craft Alive and the Queen Elizabeth II Park that there will be no water supply on Saturday, June 20 between the hours of 7:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Road Town Senior Building across from the Happy Lion Restaurant. Registration deadline is June 26 and a fee of $75.00 must be paid.
The Ministry of Education and Culture and the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports invites persons in the community who have an interest in youth development and sporting services to the Tortola youth focused stakeholders meeting on Monday, June 22.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Student Services Conference Room on the second floor of the Ward Building.

The Water and Sewerage Department is informing the residents of Virgin Gorda that water is currently being produced at a limited rate and water service interruption will continue daily at 7:00 pm until production reaches an optimal rate to fill tanks.
The following schools who have completed their pre-registration are required to pay their respective fees which include insurance (if they are purchasing the school’s insurance), physical education uniform and house shirts at the Elmore Stoutt High School.

The Department of Trade and Consumer Affairs is informing the public that its offices will be closed at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19. Regular working hours will resume on Monday, June 22.
