How do I obtain Customized License Plates?
To order customized license plates you will need:
- Application Form
- Driver’s License Number
- Social Security Number
- Current License Plate number
- Current Sticker Number
- Vehicle Identification Number(VIN)
Payment Method: Visa, MasterCard, Debit, Cash, Cheque
Delivery:
Allow up 90 Days
Process
Step 1: Customer submits filled-out form and required documents to the Cashier.
Step 2: Once application is approved, the relevant fee is collected by the cashier and a receipt is issued to the customer. (Customer should allow 90 days for the delivery of the plates)
Step 3: When returning to collect the new plates, customer must provide both of the old plates to the Cashier and complete a vehicle transfer form to make the plate change. ( A copy of the form will be given).
Step 4: Customer will then need to inform their insurance company about the change for their records to be amended accordingly. After which, they will return to the department with the new insurance policy for a placement sticker at the cost of $5.00
Additional Notes
When returning to collect personalized License Plates, unless using old plates, you will be asked to return old plates to department.
