The Junior Officers Basic (JOB) training saw the junior officers receiving training in several areas including communication, ethics and integrity, cargo reporting and processes, tariff preferences, and clarification and accounting.
Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Deputy Governor Mrs. Sharlene DaBreo Lettsome said, “It is extremely important that our Customs Officers receive the training necessary to conduct their duties efficiently and effectively. We must continually invest in the learning and development of the individuals that are charged with protecting our borders, and ensuring the safety and security of the Territory.
