Phase 2 of the Restricted Border Reopening Plan is in effect as of September 1. The following categories of persons sited in Phase 1 and Phase 2 can now register to return to the British Virgin Islands by visiting www.bvitravel.vg.

They are:

  • BVI Islanders, Belongers, and Permanent Residents
  • Work Permit Holder or Work Permit Exemption Holder (Existing)
  • Residing Entry Permit (Retirees in the BVI, BVI Vacation Home Owners)
  • Students of locally based Medical Schools and H. Lavity Stoutt Community College
  • Exceptional approval for persons employed by the Government of the Virgin Islands and its Statutory Bodies, Agencies and Boards; and teachers (Public and Private)
  • Dependents (spouses and children) of a Belonger, Permanent Residents, Work Permit holders, Work Permit Exemption holders
  • Persons desirous of conducting business in the Territory and Diplomats (Business Visitors)
  • Aviation crew
  • Maritime crew
  • Healthcare practitioners/medical staff
  • Emergency Maintenance, Repair and other technical personnel
