The Auguste George Airport, on Anegada was reopened on Saturday, February 9 following a brief closure.

 

Managing Director of the BVI Airports Authority Ltd. (BVIAA) Mr. Denniston Fraser said the airport was closed consequent to the un-serviceability of the main Fire Tender.

 

Mr. Fraser said the authority seeks to always ensure safety is all times maintained and thanks the travelling public for its patience.
