The public is invited to the book launch ceremony for, ‘The Irma Diaries’, a book which takes readers through the impact of the strongest hurricane to ever make landfall in Atlantic history,  through compelling and very personal survivor stories from the Virgin Islands.

The book launch will be held on December 19 at the BVI International Arbitration Centre, 3rd Floor of the Ritter House at 5:00 p.m.

The book is penned by local author, Ms. Angela Burnett and serves to stir global attention and action on climate change.

Persons are encouraged to attend and support the launch of this historic book as the Department of Culture continues to effectively promote literary works by collaborating with local authors and developing the Virgin Islands’ cultural heritage and traditions.
