The public is being notified that confirmed COVID-19 positive cases were in attendance at the following venues/events:

  • Home Grown Academy music recital held at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) on June 29th, 2021;
  • Loose Mongoose on June 26th and 27th, 2021.

All persons who were in attendance are asked to immediately self-isolate and contact the Public Health Department. Testing will only be via appointment and scheduled 10 days after the potential exposure has occurred.

Persons who are currently experiencing or develop any symptoms of COVID-19 should contact the Public Health Unit at 468-4936 or the Medical Hotline 852-7650 for any necessary advice. Symptoms include fever, chills, headache, runny nose, sore throat, loss of appetite, taste and smell, fatigue, abdominal pain, muscle aches, joint pain, dry cough, vomiting and diarrhea.

Help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to the established public health protocols of wearing masks, physical distancing, hand washing and sanitisation.
