The J. R. O'Neal Botanic Gardens is featured this week with its diverse habitats including rainforest, the coastal environment, and dry forests. Deputy Director of the National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands Mrs. Nancy Pascoe, said that the gardens manage collections of threatened plants found nowhere else in the world, and that it is the site of the Old Agricultural Experiment Station. The Department of Culture is inviting the public to view specific exhibitions, museums and institutions in support of  International Meuseum Day between May 19 and 26 that is being observed this year under the theme, "Museums, Sustainability and Well-being".
