The Environmental Health Division is alerting the public that fogging will continue in locality three which covers areas between Pasea Estate and Fat Hogs Bay. Fogging will resume this evening in the vicinity of Whelks Point to Fat Hogs Bay.  Once completed a schedule for Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda will be provided.  Fogging will also take place on Anegada on Wednesday and Thursday, November 16 and 17 ahead of Lobster Fest activities.

Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, should leave the areas being fogged for at least one hour.  Residents are reminded that fogging provides temporary relief from mosquitoes. Householders and property owners are urged to be vigilant and to conduct weekly inspections around their homes and businesses to reduce mosquito breeding sites.   For further information on how to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito, telephone the Vector Control Unit of the Environmental Health Division at 468-5110.
