The Environmental Health Division is alerting the public that fogging will resume on Monday, February 22 in the Brewers Bay area, and Tuesday, February 23 in vicinity of Beef Island. Fogging will also continue on Wednesday, February 24 on the western side of the island in locality six which includes Zion Hill, Capoon’s Bay, Long Bay, Smuggler’s Cove, Little and Great Carrot Bay.

Fogging is done between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., and on some mornings from 6:15 to 07:30 a.m. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, should leave the areas being fogged for at least an hour.

Residents are reminded that fogging provides temporary relief from mosquitoes.
