The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting sealed bids for the supply and installation of furniture for the various departments situated in the Vanterpool and Flax buildings on Virgin Gorda.

 “The Bidder should read the instructions carefully before completing the bid documentation as failure to comply with any of the instructions may render the bid non-compliant and it may be excluded,” Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said.

Eligible local bidders are required to have updated Certificates of Good Standing from the Director of the Social Security Board, National Health Insurance, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue as well as other documentation listed in the Tender Document. The date of issue on the certificates must be current, and should be no earlier than one month prior to the date of submission. 

Bidders are requested to submit their notification of an intention to submit a bid in writing no later than Friday, July 16, 2021 to the address:

Interested bidders should submit one (1) original and three (3) copies, plus one (1) soft copy (flash drive) in sealed envelopes marked, “Original” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope marked “Copies” and each envelope mark with the reference PG/RFQ /2021/DGO/REF-24 – “Supply and Installation of Furniture for Vanterpool and Flax Buildings, Virgin Gorda”.  Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope marked “PG/RFQ /2021/DGO/REF-24 – “Supply and Installation of Furniture for Vanterpool and Flax Buildings, Virgin Gorda” and must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10 and addressed to:

Bids may be delivered during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Bids will be opened at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Qwomar Trading Building #2, 2nd Floor at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10.
