Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley is featured visiting and checking on the latest progress of three social homes in the Virgin Islands. The three beneficiaries, Mr. Ted Rabsatt of Fat Hogs Bay, Mr Dalvin Callwood from Little Harbour, Jost Van Dyke and Ms. Cassandra Sutton from Sea Cow’s Bay, benefited from the Ministry’s Housing Recovery Assistance Programme. Mr. Rabsatt received a rebuild grant while Ms. Sutton and Mr. Callwood are each recipients of social homes. The three houses are expected to be completed by next month when the Ministry will officially hand them over to the beneficiaries.

Since the inception of the Housing Recovery and Assistance Programme after Hurricane Irma, over 20 social homes have been built and over 200 homes have been repaired.
