Honourable Lorna Smith, OBE and her three member delegation are featured with officials on their final day of a fact-finding visit to the Cayman Islands.

The delegation engaged with Premier Honourable Andre Ebanks, Deputy Premier Honourable Gary Rutty and their teams, as well as key agencies such as the Department of Commerce and Investment, Cayman Enterprise City, and the Chamber of Commerce—which represents over 600 members.

Honourable Smith said this visit is another important step toward improving the ease of doing business in the VI, revitalising the Territory’s local business sector and encouraging greater investment—particularly in tourism. She said that there were many valuable lessons learned and that it was a highly productive and insightful experience. Honourable Smith added that she is grateful to the Premier and his team for their warm hospitality and support which signified a fine example of Overseas Territories working together.
