The Honourable Corine N. George-Massicote, Speaker of the House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands, has been formally invited to deliver the keynote address at the upcoming Caribbean Women’s Transformational Leadership Conference, taking place in Barbados on Wednesday, 18 June 2025.

This prestigious regional conference is hosted by Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWiL) in collaboration with the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), the Commonwealth Secretariat, ParlAmericas, and other development partners. The event is designed to enhance the leadership capacity of women involved in politics, the private sector, and community development across the Caribbean.

In the official invitation, Ms. Jennifer Namgyal, Head of the Gender Section within the Commonwealth’s Social Development, Youth, and Gender Directorate, highlighted Speaker George-Massicote’s demonstrated leadership and the value of her contribution to regional advancement.
