The Department of Agriculture is advising importers of live birds to complete the necessary animal import permit forms at the department. This is important in helping to stop the spread of the H5N1 Avian Flu or Bird Flu, and to safeguard the Territory.

The forms are available online at http://www.bvi.gov.vg/departments/department-agriculture. Importers can submit the completed forms via email to bvi_vet@gov.vg or visit the department.
