The public is invited to the launch of the Seagrape Tree Replanting Initiative at Long Bay, Beef Island on Saturday June 8 at 8:30 a.m.

As part of the ceremony, the 20 seagrape trees planted at the launch will be named after deceased members of the Seventh and Eighth Districts who have made significant contributions to community development. The public nomination process for naming the remaining trees will also be launched.

All are asked to make a special effort to attend.
