Jaleel Cameron supersedes goal of $17,000 by raising and donating $20,000 towards the purchase of an electroencephalography machine also known as an EEG Machine at the New Peebles Hospital. An EEG machine is most often used to diagnosed epilepsy which is absent in the Territory for testing. After being diagnosed with epilepsy, Jaleel began selling water to generate funds to purchase the machine. His efforts did not go unnoticed and persons and organisations contributed to help him surpass his goal. During the cheque handover, Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton expressed his appreciation for Jaleel’s efforts by stating that he has started a movement that he [Skelton] is proud to be associated with.
