The Department of Public Works is accepting Requests for Proposals for the grading of roads and the cleaning of box drains and ghuts in various areas on Tortola as follows:

  1. Grading of Road in Josiah’s Bay from the entrance of Josiah’s Bay Plantation Ruin leading up to Charles Frett property.
  2. Grading of Road approximately one hundred and eighty (180) feet of dirt road at Long Bay, West End in the vicinity of Lemuel Smith property.
  3. Grading of Road in Georges north side on Turnbull Hill Road from McCall property to Diana Douglas property. Approximately six hundred and ten (610) feet.
  4. Cleaning of ghut in East End from behind Autland Equipment Yard along Greenland Road and behind East End Fire Station outward to the sea. Approximately sixteen hundred and seventy (1670) feet.
  5. Cleaning of box drain/ghut in Road Town from the sidewalk adjacent to the old Althea Scatliffe school site entrance outward to the Cultural Centre yard. Approximately one hundred and seventy (170) feet.
