The National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands regrets to inform the general public that the Queen Elizabeth II National Park will be closed for maintenance on Thursday 13th May 2021 until the playground equipment has been repaired and deemed safe for public use. Please note that entry will not be permitted. Violators are subject to penalties under the Virgin Islands National Parks Act, 2006. Section 49.1.a.

A person who contravenes this section commits an offence and is liable on a) summary convictions, to a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both; b) conviction on indictment, to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both. Each day on which the offence continues shall constitute a separate offence.
