The Environmental Health Division is advising the public of a recall issued for Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon products following a notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The products are being recalled due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria known to cause serious and sometimes fatal infections. The affected products include:

  • Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon Original – 12 oz.

Best Before Dates: 18 July 2025 to 2 August 2025

  • Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon – 36 oz.

UPC: 071871548748

Lot Numbers: RS19, RS40, RS42

Best Before Dates: 23 July 2025 to 4 September 2025

  • Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon – 48 oz.

UPC: 071871548793

Best Before Dates: 18 July 2025 to 4 September 2025

Consumers in possession of any products matching the above details are urged to stop using them immediately, return them to the place of purchase or have them discarded.

Listeria infection can cause serious illness, especially in pregnant women, newborns, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms include fever, muscle aches, nausea, and diarrhea. If you have consumed any of the affected products and are feeling unwell, seek medical attention immediately.
