Are you a BVI citizen, Belonger or valid work permit holder who experienced hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic? You may be eligible for monetary assistance through the COVID-19 Cash Assistance Programme for vulnerable families.

Registration for the COVID-19 Cash Assistance Programme begins June 28 and end on July 9 through online submissions or by telephone. Phone numbers will be provided in the coming days.

Qualifying applicants are advised to begin gathering required documentation such as the Termination of Service/Lay-off form from the previous employer, or a termination letter or note. Informal workers will require a notarised letter from a pastor or an elected representative. Self-employed applicants should submit a valid trade licence, along with the last three business receipts which demonstrate purchases related to your business from February to March 2020, and relevant association membership letter, or Certificate of Good Standing.
