The Environmental Health Division is encouraging all individuals to be involved in food preparation and vending during the Emancipation Festival to obtain their Food Handler’s Certification.

Food Handler training sessions will be offered according to the following schedule.

• July 15 at 5:00 p.m. ESHS
• July 22 at 9:00 a.m. Virtual

• July 29 at 5:00 p.m. ESHS

In person sessions will be held at the Elmore Stoutt High School’s (L shape building) Lecture Room.  All attendees must have materials for note-taking, such as a pen and paper. Renewing food handlers should have their food handler’s and identification cards, while new food handlers are to present a social security card, passport-sized photo, and identification card.
