The public is advised that due to ongoing remedial works, the Magistracy on Tortola will not reopen for in-person hearings as scheduled.

During this time, arrest matters will continue to be held remotely, and some matters will be held remotely at the discretion of each Magistrate.

Notice of such sittings will be communicated to the parties as needed.

The public is further notified that the opening of the 2024 Law Term has also been delayed to February 5 on the expectation that the remedial work will be completed then.

The Magistracy regrets any inconvenience this delay may cause.
