The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the cleaning services for the Central Administration Complex.

Director of Communications, Mrs. Arliene T. Penn said that the proposed works consists of cleaning the ceramic and carpet tiles in the west and east atriums, the walk ways and archways of the complex.

Mrs. Penn said interested tenderers must submit all the necessary documents to prove that the company is experienced in completing the job requirements in an effective and efficient manner and is compliant will all the requirements to operate a business in the Virgin Islands.

“Interested persons must provide the Procurement Unit with proof of possession ownership of the equipment for the job, certificates of good standing in respect to social security and taxes including payroll taxes and property taxes, and trade licences”, Director Penn said.

Tender documents are available upon request from the Procurement Unit located at the RFG Place, Third Floor, Waterfront Drive.  Tender documents are available from Monday, February 13.

A non-refundable fee of $100.00 payable by cash or bank cashier’s chequeis required for the tender documents.  Interested tenderers should submit one original and two copies of the tender and all tenders must be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement Unit no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14.  Tenders will be publicly opened at the Procurement Unit on Tuesday, March 14 at noon.  Tenderers are invited to attend.
