The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for road rehabilitation works at Cox Heath, Tortola.

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs.  Ishma Rhymer said that the proposed works consists of furnishing all plant, labour, equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with the implementation of the road rehabilitation works at Cox Heath.

The Procurement Coordinator said that interested tenderers must submit all the necessary documents to prove that the company is experienced in road rehabilitation works and is compliant will all the requirements to operate a business in the Virgin Islands.

Mrs. Rhymer said “Interested persons must provide the Procurement Unit with proof certificates of good standing in respect to social security and taxes including payroll taxes and property taxes, trade licence and National Health Insurance.”

She added that tender documents are available upon request from the Procurement Unit located at the RFG Place, Third Floor, Waterfront Drive.  Tender documents are available from Tuesday, March 7. The pre-tender meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 24.

A non-refundable fee of $250.00 payable by cash or bank cashier’s cheque is required for the tender documents.  Interested tenderers should submit one original and two copies of the tender and all tenders must be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement Unit no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18.  Tenders will be publicly opened at the Procurement Unit on Tuesday, April 18 at noon.  Tenderers are invited to attend.
