A third shipment of 12,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines arrived in the Virgin Islands today from the United Kingdom Government to assist in the local fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Present at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport to receive the shipment of vaccines was Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley. He is joined by representatives from the Governor’s Office. The Virgin Islands COVID-19 vaccination roll-out continues. The team at the Ministry of Health and Social Development is reminding the public that the vaccine is available to everyone and it save lives.  Persons are encouraged to get vaccinated.
