The Department of Immigration is reminding Entry Permit Holders that a valid Entry Permit Stamp affixed to your passport is required for entry into the Territory.

To avoid travel disruptions, Entry Permit Holders are strongly encouraged to renew their Work Permit and Entry Permit prior to making travel arrangements.

Exceptional consideration will be given in cases of medical emergencies and other urgent circumstances, which are subject to verification. Where this exception is being sought, the Entry Permit Holder should make a request to the Chief Immigration Officer by email to immigrationinfo@gov.vg 72 hours prior to arrival, providing the following details:

  1. Port of Arrival
  2. Expected date of Arrival
  3. Copy of expired Entry Permit Stamp
  4. Supporting Documents (e.g., medical certificate, physician’s letter, proof of emergency, etc.)

For additional information, you may contact the department at 1-284-468-4705.
