Virgin Islands farmers are featured as they discussed Regenerative Agriculture which is a way of farming that works with nature to help tackle climate change and ecological collapse. The session was held on Thursday, March 13, 2024.

The regenerative presentation was made by Agroecologist and farmer Ms. Nea Talbot of Full Belly Farm, Mount Fertile in Tortola. Ms. Talbot is also a consultant and leading advocate for the development of a robust local food system in the Virgin Islands.  Founder and Executive Director of the Virgin Islands Good Food Coalition Mrs. Sommer Sibilly-Brown of the US Virgin Islands moderated the session.

The session was one of the scheduled events to observe Agriculture and Fisheries Exhibition and Market 2024 themed, “Sow the Seeds of Sustainability: Youth Fueling Food Security”.
