Premier Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley who is also the Minister responsible for the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sustainable Development, is featured last evening as he attended the opening ceremony for the 3 day Wagner Sailing Rally at the Trellis Bay Market Bar and Grill at Beef Island.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Department of Culture and featured the raising of the Virgin Islands, British and Polish flags in a demonstration of unity and mutually beneficial continued partnership. The Wladek Wagner’s Remembrance Plaque was unveiled at the event, and participants enjoyed various cultural exchange performances.

The Wagner Sailing Rally was initiated in 2012.
