The public is reminded that the new minimum wage of $6.00 per hour will take effect on October 1, 2016. 

Persons are hereby advised that work permit applications should no longer indicate salaries below the new minimum wage to take effect on October 1, 2016. Additionally work permit fees will be calculated to include the new minimum wage of $6.00 per hour.

This change only affects employees making less than $6.00 per hour.
