Premier of the Virgin Islands, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has strongly condemned recent acts of violence in the Territory, urging persons to turn away from criminality and imploring citizens to discourage loved ones from engaging in wrongdoing.
Residents of the Virgin Islands are reminded that in accordance with the Beach Protection Ordinance CAP 233. 1985, it is illegal to carry out sand mining activities at the Territory’s beaches.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer has said that he was pleased with the positive reviews on the outlook of the Cruise Tourism Industry at this year’s annual Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference.
More than 80 persons from across the Sister Islands are now equipped with sail safe training skills following their participation in a series of workshops.
