To protect vulnerable children and adults from abuse, neglect, exploitation and prevent family violence and disruption, by supporting family preservation and community living.
Process
Step 1: Applicants must complete and submit the Intake Application form.
Step 2: The completed case file is forwarded to the Case Manager at the Family Children and Protective Services section for assignment.
Step 3: The case file is assigned to a Social/Case worker within 1-3 working days. The Social Worker will contact the applicant/client to schedule an appointment within 24 hours of case assignment.
Step 4: The client and social worker participates in the development of a treatment plan within fourteen (14) working days of case assignment.
