An evaluation is conducted by the Office of Gender Affairs after a sixteen week intervention programme with participants, with hopes of helping individuals maintain peace within their homes and the community.

Process

Step 1:  Males are instructed by the Magistrate's Court to visit the Office of Gender Affairs and present the required form (issued by the Courts).

Step 2:  The Programme Coordinator performs the Intake Service with the individual.

Step 3:  Males complete an evaluation form after each session.

Step 4:  After the final session the participants complete a Programme Evaluation form.

Step 5:  The Programme Coordinator prepares a final report on the individual and sends it to the Magistrate's Court.

Step 6:  At the individual's next court hearing, the Programme Coordinator will provide a commentary on the report.

Additional Notes

In some instances the individual can request permission to be enrolled in the programme.
