The Department of Culture is able to provide some information on the history and culture of the Virgin Islands.  Very often, students would source the Department for assistance with their culture or history projects.

Process

Step 1:  Customers would visit or call the office seeking information on the Territory’s history or culture.  If the information is
readily available, the Department staff would share the information as requested.

Step 2:  If the request is by email, the department would acknowledge receipt of the request and provide the information if
            available by the agreed time.

Step 3:  If the information is not readily available, the Department would advise on where the information may be sourced.
Other sources are the Public Library, Archives Unit, local historians or culture bearers.
