Provision of litter bins by request for events and functions.


Step 1:  An individual or organisation submits the completed Litter Bin Loan Agreement form.

Step 2:  A confirmation is done of the number of bins requested.

Step 3:  A contract for the request is created.

Step 4:  The individual or organisation signs the contract.

Step 5:  The bins with garbage bags are delivered to the location.  

Step 6:  After the event has ended, individuals or organisations are responsible for emptying or removing waste from bins.

Step 7:  The Department collects the bins from the location.

Individuals should contact the Department two weeks before the scheduled event. The Department is not responsible for the collection of refuse after the function is finished. If the contract is breached, for example the bins are damaged, the individual or organisation would have to pay for the cost of repair or replacement of the bin. In addition, if bins are not emptied, the Department reserves the right to refuse usage to that individual or organisation in the future.
