Additional Notes

  • All persons wishing to complete the transfers are advised that both parties (the buyer and the seller) are required to be present (with proof of identity - Driver's License) at the Department of Motor Vehicles to sigh the transfer form in the presence of a representative from the Department of Motor Vehicles, or a Notary Public must notarize the signature(s) on the transfer form. This came into effect on 1st June, 2001.
  • The transfer of the vehicle must be completed within 7 days of purchase.
