The Vector Control Unit conducts inspection of premises and advises householders of conditions that would support mosquito breeding and harborage.

Process

Step 1:  The Vector Control Officers identify themselves to householders upon entering the premises for conducting inspection.

Step 2:  The premises are inspected for potential and actual mosquito breeding sites.

Step 3:  If actual mosquito breeding is found, then householders are advised on measures to control and eliminate breeding sites.  Additionally, a Premises Inspection Notice is issued to householders notifying them of violations found.  A Notice of Violation is affixed to specific breeding containers requiring urgent remedial action.
