At our last press conference on 8th June the Premier and I announced the agreement on implementation of the Commission of Inquiry Report recommendations. The Framework document put forward by the Government of National Unity set out a plan and timeline for the implementation of 48 of the 49 recommendations which was accepted by the UK Government.

We are following through on our obligations through a combination of marine conservation measures and the development of a sustainable blue economy. In this regard, good progress is being made on re-growing our mangrove forests and expanding our coral nurseries.
