On Friday 15 March, 2023 it was brought to my attention that a propaganda and inaccurate sensational social media Facebook release of a Mika Barry video labeled me (David Archer) through a likeness photo of myself and exact words, as “Confirmed Government Official 1”.

The Government of the Virgin Islands has noted the verdict which was reached today in the case before the Miami Federal Court involving former Premier, Andrew Fahie.

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice, Mike Freer MP, arrived in the BVI on Sunday 5 November for a two day visit. His responsibilities include Courts and Legal services, and this includes the Overseas Territories.

The public is notified that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will be closed on Friday, September, 1 to facilitate staff training, and will reopen on Monday, September 4.

Premier of the Virgin Islands, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has strongly condemned recent acts of violence in the Territory, urging persons to turn away from criminality and imploring citizens to discourage loved ones from engaging in wrongdoing.
