The British Virgin Islands COVID-19 Human and Economic Impact Assessment Report (HEAT Report) that presents the overall impact of the coronavirus on the Territory has been launched.
As part of the Government of The Virgin Islands’ plans to achieve its vision to be a leading economy through entrepreneurship, innovation, foreign and local investment by 2025, Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie, in consultation with members of his Cabinet, has made a decision to establish an ad hoc Economic Advisory Council to the Premier (EAC).

Business owners are notified that Friday, August 21 is the deadline to submit applications for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Business Grant Relief Programme.
Owners of Micro, Small and Medium businesses are reminded to apply for the Government of the Virgin Islands’ Economic Stimulus Grant programme by August 21.
Mr. Speaker, I want to take this opportunity to renew my appeals to the members of the public to bear with their Government as we develop and implement the measures to further stabilise their social and economic situation and to put the foundation in place for their future.
