Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent Wheatley has said that the upcoming reclamation works in the Pockwood Pond area will not affect the Dungeon historical ruins site.

The Office of the City Manager will soon open the doors of the Old Her Majesty’s Prison Museum. Final preparations are progressing and the decision has been made to have prisoners from Her Majesty’s Prison contribute several crafts and merchandise to the museum.

The Territory’s first Chief Minister, the late Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt, was credited as being an exceptional leader and architect of some of the Territory’s most significant projects, at celebrations to mark the 20th year since his passing.

The 20th Memorial Celebrations of Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt’s passing will be observed on Monday March 2, as Government in collaboration with H. Lavity Stoutt Commemorative Committee pay homage to the Territory’s first Chief Minister.
