Following the decision by Hon. Mark H. Vanterpool to take the Speaker of the Virgin Islands’ House of Assembly to court over the Speaker’s decision to accept his resignation letter of 5^th March, 2019, the Government of the Virgin Islands, through the House of Assembly retained the local law firm of Veritas Law.

The House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands has procedures in place to ensure a smooth process for the passing of the Territory’s budget.

I am aware of the Honourable Speaker's latest statement relating to representation in the Fourth District.  

I want to start by giving God all the glory, honour and praise.

Mr. Julian Willock was elected and sworn in as the Speaker of the House of Assembly during the First Sitting of the First Session of the Fourth House of Assembly on Tuesday, March 12.
